Man, this thread took less time to come up than I thought it would!

I really can't see WotC releasing a 4.5E. I don't think they got a good reaction with 3.5E so I think you will see a 5E rather than a 4.5E.

I find it incredibly useful and a great addition to the system. Plus you can too put magic items on your NPCs.
