4 character builds wanted all 12th level total..

Whoops, my bad. I meant spellthief. Though I suppose you could take 4 levels of daggerspell mage and do it that way instead, but you'd have to blow two feats you'll probably never want to use, especially melee wise.

The reason for the choice of order though is to get rogue skill points at first level, but then get the spellcasting as high as possible as fast as possible. Tack on the spellthief level for sneak attack, and then go from there.

Though technically this would be cherry picking, I always throught AT was a bit over-difficult to qualify for (especially for poor, poor sorcerers.... not being able to get into it until 10th level in core only games :().

12th level Ranger: what are good suggestions for prestiges classes, feats spells...focus is vs. undead. Any Suggestions...

12th level Monk w/ Vow of Poverty: I think thats it for him? is there any prestige classes worthy of looking into? Or what I think just stay the course with Monk?

I'll focus on these two - other have already covered the mage/rogue and the saint.

The monk really only has one available pclass - tatooed monk. There are others, but that's the only really useful one, in my opinion. It's not that hard to qualify for, though it does have a throwaway feat requirement. It gets some useful abilities, some of which are enhanced by the vow of poverty stat boosts, some of which are redundant with the vow of poverty abilities. But check it out in complete warrior, it may strike your fancy.

The ranger has way more options. Building off the "ranger" idea, you have lots of options. Straight ranger no longer sucks. You start to get some neat abilities as you get to higher levels. You can also qualify for the horizon walker pclass, which has some really nice abilities as well (darkvision, dimension door, +4 to Listen, tremorsense, immunity to alignment based magic, and so forth). Two weapon fighting is now a very viable option, though it works best with some rogue levels mixed in. A rogue 4/ranger 6/xyz 2 (where xyz is any full bab pclass or base class) might take an xp penalty if you're using a base class rather than pclass, but can get 6 attacks per round with sneak attack damage, plus you get trapfinding and uncanny dodge. Probably not the best choice with a rogue/mage in the group though. You can also ignore the combat paths. Take archery for a backup style, grab a greatsword and power attack with the rest of the fighters. You'll have more skill points, some nice abilities, and fewer hp than the tanks, but it works if you don't mind the risk of going *splat*. Finally, if you like ranger, check out the scout class from Complete Adventurer. It's an interesting variant all its own (and if you're going to be playing up to very high levels, the 18th and 20th level abilities are probably the best in the game).

Maybe Rgr11/Clr1? Gets all of the Combat Style bonus feats (I'd recommend melee for an undead hunter as ranged bashing damage means less than ideal range), three favoured enemies (+6 vs undead is good), and turning. Featwise the two weapon defense tree from CW can be a good option, while the golfbag of weapons he'll need means that Weapon Focus is a poor choice. The ranger spell list is too narrow for spell choice to be too complex.

12th level rogue/wizard: Character wants to work it out to where he is both is there a prestige class that does this? She had had mentioned Arcane trickster? worthy or no?
Very worthwhile. Less skills, but more than straight wizard. Improves spellcasting and impromptu sneak attack is very useful.

Considered the Initiate of Pistis Sophia from BoED? Actually, I'd be concerned about this build being too powerful rather than the next, VoP is extremely cool and nifty.

12th Cleric w/ Saint template: This one has caused the most concern, to powerful? Will the other 6 players get jealous? What do you feel of the Saint template?
That it maybe shouldn't be available to a new character? Have the player prove his character's sainthood FIRST, then provide benefits. It is powerful, and that ECL +2 looks wrong to me (at a glance), but the requirement of being saintly is the balancing point. Exalted should be tricky, saintly should be VERY tricky. Maybe start the character at 11th level (to test the player/character's ability to self-sacrifice :) ) then about when the rest of the party is hitting 13th level, strip his xp and apply the template? So he''l be ECL 13 whem the rest are 13th level.

What the heck is level 1 turning going to do?

You probably confuse the daggerspell with some other PrC, as it does not get Sneak Attack at 1st level.

Shadow Thief of Amn would work, tho.

Where's that PrC located?
I need more PrC's with level one sneak attack, for those GM's who have this thing against the assassin.

Arcane trickster is pretty good.
A nice trick is to start at one level of rogue, then five levels of wizard, followed by one level of assassin.
This trick does not work.
Requirements for the Assassin PrC are 4 ranks in disguise and 8 ranks in hide and in move silently.
8 ranks in hide or move silently can only be achieved either by
- a level 5 class with hide and move silently as class skills.
- a level 16 class with hide and move silently not as class skills.
- a level 1 rogue / level 7 wizard

Starting as a rogue you max out disguise, hide and move silently.
Now you have 4 ranks in disguise, hide and move silently.
Move silently and hide are no class skills for a wizard, so he can buy only 1/2 class level ranks. At level 6 (rog1/wiz5) the PC can raise the ranks at maxmimum only to 7 not to the needed 8.

A wizard 5/rogue 1 can achieve 8 ranks in move silently and hide, but he had lost many skill points because of starting as a wizard instead of a rogue.

Actually, it does.

At least, your objection isn't valid. I haven't checked anything else about it.

A skill is counted as a class skill for purposes of determining maximum ranks if it is a class skill for any class you belong to.

Thus, the maximum ranks in Hide or Move Silently for a Rogue 1 / Wizard 5 is exactly the same as the maxmimum ranks for a Rogue 6 - 9 ranks.

The Rog / Wiz had to spend more skill points to get there, however.
