Whoops, my bad. I meant spellthief. Though I suppose you could take 4 levels of daggerspell mage and do it that way instead, but you'd have to blow two feats you'll probably never want to use, especially melee wise.
The reason for the choice of order though is to get rogue skill points at first level, but then get the spellcasting as high as possible as fast as possible. Tack on the spellthief level for sneak attack, and then go from there.
Though technically this would be cherry picking, I always throught AT was a bit over-difficult to qualify for (especially for poor, poor sorcerers.... not being able to get into it until 10th level in core only games
).
