I like the Shaman. I want to play a rethemed shaman who summons angels. I sketched one up, it worked really well. And mechanically I think the shaman is actually pretty strong if you've got a melee centric party.

I don't like the Bard. I don't care if its got tons and tons of history behind it. Its still a poorly conceived class, and the 4e version is worse than most. I want the bard to be the music class, but instead its the arcane trickster leader class with a few minor references to music. I guess that isn't any different than in 3e, but I didn't like it then either.

Round one inspired me to read the artificer class, and I'm liking it. Perhaps I should play one to see why it sucks?

Oh, it doesn't suck, of the leaders, I think it has one of the best healing class features, not in terms of raw hit points healed (the cleric wins that hands down), but in terms of versatility and the ability to fuel the healing infusions with anyones healing surges. I have plenty of other reasons to like the artificer, but I don't want to derail this thread.

Voted warlock for being generally bad at what it does. It's a striker that doesn't do much damage. Like a bike that can't go faster than 4 mph.

I have the feeling all the newer classes are going to keep going down in flames, but I'm going to keep pushing for the Paladin, which has been a disappointment to me from the start.

Warden.

Because, I really do not see the point.

I only wish I knew about this earlier so I would have been able to defend the warlord, which I really like.

My problem with the Bard is that I want it to be a reasonably competent gish-type class that focuses on music and uses its skills to protect others and screw over the enemies. Since 4e got rid of any real musical effect from it, Swordmage now does what I want Bard to do better than the Bard does it, and I just say that the Swordmage is singing.

Bard I like but 4e Bard is more the aspect of the Bard I don't really care for, and the one that's different and interesting has an utterly bizzare stat choice that makes me wary due to both primary stats being on the same NAD. Cunning Bard is, yeah, the trickster thing that I don't really care about, Valorous is OK but Swordmage does what I want out of that better, and Prescient is kind of a meh concept despite bows being nice, plus yeah the nonsensical CHA/WIS crap.

The Warlord dropped the last round. Both rounds so far have dropped leaders. Is another one on the line this time?
I think this demonstrates that the cleric so superior (not mechanically, just is pure awesomeness) that others need not apply.

(Except maybe the bard).
