[4e] covaithe's E1: Death's Reach

ENWorld's back! I hope these downtimes don't become a regular thing again ...

So it's your fault that I haven't been able to get in all weekend...

Anyway, I finally got my hands on Divine Power. Found a couple things I think I'd like to switch around...

Cov, do you still want me to wait until after the first encounter or so to make any changes?[/QUOTE]

Well, since we haven't managed to get started yet, you might as well go ahead. Assuming you can manage to actually log in and post.

Back, I'm back! Alexander is ready, but since everyone posted the stats with each power completely figured out (I guess that does make it considerably easier for the DM) I'll do that, too, and then post Anostor in the RG.

Gah, and the ENWorld-ate-my-post syndrome starts again. I think this is what I wanted to say:

 I really shouldn't have said anything about the downtimes ...

Anyway, I'll get on those changes. They'll be done by the end of the day. I might trade Reserve Maneuver for something else if it catches my eye ... we'll see.

Also, a heads up for everyone: I'm getting married on the 9th of August. So, I'll have limited internet access from the 6th to the 8th, and absolutely no access from the 9th to the 15th while we're on our honeymoon

Please feel free to NPC Sarenax or have one of our other illustrious players take care of him while I'm gone. You all have fun while I'm gone! :)

Belt of Vigor does. Belt of Sacrifice lets all your allies within 5 have an item bonus. Belt of Mountain Endurance lets you add your STR modifier to HSV (which would help out a few ppl in our group).

Iron Ring of Dwarflords gives you 1 extra HS, but no bonus to the HSV.

Oh noes! ... Why did I have to read the DP multiclass feats?

So ... now there's an avenger multiclass feat that lets you pick training in something other than Religion. I'd like to take that more than the fighter multiclass, since I might actually use some of the avenger feats. (The MC feat was really just for Intimidate. Though now if it gives me a couple extra feat options that I'd actually consider taking, then why not? Plus, "the Reaper" does lend itself to a certain avenger-y bent ;))

Would the oath of enmity benefit will only last until the end of my next turn, like the version in the PHB2 multiclass feat? Seems odd that they'd let you have the oath benefit for the full normal duration 1/encounter, though that's definitely what's written ...

Yikes. That's full of brokenness... a ranger picks that up and it'd be all sorts of craziness... or daggermaster. (17-20 crit, roll twice, that's like 30% chance to crit every hit).

Yes indeed. Wouldn't be quite so broken for Sarenax, but still, giving that much of a boost in accuracy for just a multiclass feat? It is pretty overpowered. I'm assuming it was a typo that will be corrected in the first batch of errata.
