Waiting on me, I know. Haven't forgotten you guys; I've just spent the whole weekend working on things that I'm even farther behind on. Soon, soon...

It's been well over a month with no word from Atanatotatos, so I'm thinking that at the end of this encounter (surely soon, now) it will be time to say goodbye to Anostor. Since I've gone to all the trouble of reshuffling the encounters in this adventure for 6 tough PCs instead of 5 weak ones [*], I'd rather recruit a replacement than try to cut the encounters down.

Thoughts?

Are any of the alternates from the first round of recruiting still watching this, or will I need to advertise it?

I agree with you Cov. I like the encounter difficulty bump up. I've already written him out for my LEB game as well, and we definitely need another high damage striker I think, although Kylek and Massacre have been doing some pretty sweet damage...

WD, didn't I just do the same in one of your games?

i'd like to see how that monk looks at level 21, as we are missing a striker after Anostor wanders off in his typical fashion. (Though his player, Atananotatos, disappearing is a mystery to me still.)

We would be an interesting group with three dragonborn (two of them clerics...), but the extra damage Anostor was pumping out was more than useful!

I admit I'm intrigued by the monk, too. I've only skimmed the playtest article, but it looked okay to me. Those of you who follow CharOp more than I do, is there anything in particular that I should be watching out for in the monk playtest? Besides, a monk would be ridiculously easy to insert into the campaign, in ways that other classes might not.

Gonna wait a day or two and see if any of the guys from first round of recruiting shows up, but it might be worth your time to work that monk up to L21.
