[4e] GM wanted: Paragon tier adventure?

Theroc,

I don't see it as being a huge problem. However, you will need to remember that ALL your spells will be frost damage with your implement, unless you change your implement.

Sorry I have been quiet, I had something of a medical emergency. :(
@eblue I have no prob with the "storytelling guidelines" you posted. Fey city = coolness! Working on a background as you read this.

@Theroc You seem to have some math errors on your sheet (as well as some cut n paste leftovers in skills) specifically your attributes and hit points are a bit off.
Once you finalize your decisions I'll be happy to help out with that.

@everyone I haven't had much success or fun with large groups. 5 is my preference for number of players, I can deal with 6. Seven is a dealbreaker for me.

By RAW frost daggers allow all damage dealt by the weapon to be turned to cold damage on a free action and turned back to normal on another free action.
As the DM you can surely change it to permanently change the damage, but normally it can change back & forth.

I hope you are feeling better.

Most PbP's loose 1 or two players in the first month...

I will change my character to 'plain' dwarf. Revised background will be posted on Monday.

Just a warning, by taking the 'arcane implement heavy blade' feat (I hope this is the correct name) and buying a sunblade, you could turn any damage to radiant by this logic. Combined with a certain cleric paragon path ->

all crit with 19-20.

Well you can also just grab a radiant weapon and the student of caiphon pp and then crit on 18-20 anyone can do that by MC'ing into warlock then picking it up. There are plenty of ways to cheese if you want to.

Well, I hijacked the format from... the gith monk... account name escapes me. Holidays been a bit hectic.

Eblue, the at-will ability on the frost dagger allows me to change the damage type to and from Cold. Are you changing this to a permanant Cold Keyword?

Edit:
I find it funny, in the 4th Edition rules area where I asked for advice, I mentioned only having access to the PHB and PHB2, and so I'd need writeups of stuff outside of it, but the guys there keep throwing Arcane Power stuff etc... at me without giving me a little writeup so I can use it. Sorry about the delay on my character, I'm just a little confused at all the options and the holiday's been a bit hectic.

Frost Dagger: Well, if the issue is having access to cold damage at all times, it could be noted that if we're going RAW then this is to be expected. As far as the radient weapons/student of caiphon bit, you could do the same thing with MC rogue/Daggermaster for a sorcerer; it's better for a wildmage/storm sorcerer using DEX, but you get my drift. For the crits, at least. There you don't need to have radient weapons either, but any dagger attack (it's not melee or weapon, but attacks with a dagger). AND it's PHB1 material, with a bit of PH2 (sorcerer).

Too much focus on this as an issue will color the camaign. I recommend not worrying about it, and just add more monsters so we can use our cheesy powers on it. :p

I think I'll have my swordmage have various adventures in places like the Underdark with the Drow; and maybe some Astral dominions. Is Sigil a site in the campaign?

Theroc: if you want, give me the items and feats and powers you want, and the starting stats/stat bumps, and I'll use CB and send you the summary. If we're 11th level, the bonuses should be the same for your attack stat (ie: Cha+implement + 1/2 level = 14?) for non-weapon attacks... approximately, anyway.
Would that be helpful?

Would be helpful as a check, it doesn't help me with decision making at all though, which is my current problem.
