Oh, it's much later this year. We only got the signed license back last week so we haven't really started work yet. ZEITGEIST will be starting Spring this year, so SANTIAGO will likely be starting Autumn-ish.

Cool. It looks very interesting. I will keep tabs on it here. I would appreciate your feedback on what I whipped up too. I know its not perfect, but it works as a nice holdover for now.
I glanced at it, but I didn't think it would be a good idea to read it in case we end up developing very similar stuff to what you have - I wouldn't want you to think we were stealing your work. I already saw a lot of similarities with the concepts we're working on, so I closed the tab hurriedly.

LOL I understand completely. Nice to know that we are on the same general page though. I found a lot of inspiration in Gamma World, especially the simple design and ease of character creation. I hope that is a direction that WOTC continues.
And going back to the topic at hand, I would love to see a true update of Star Frontiers. They have had small updates and brief settings in some of the d20 Modern books, but that was the sci-fi setting I grew up with and would like to see it get some love.
