4E Situational Modifiers: Too Many or Not Enough?

Does 4E have too many situational modifiers in combat, not enough, or just right?

Its just right, but only just!
I love the fact that the combat section in the PHB is co concise. I love the stripped down mods for range, prone, advantage etc. Awesome.

Then there's the powers. Sheesh, that exception based design can act like an anchor around the combat! Warlord+action point+paragon=slooooooow.

What I do like is that players carry a lot more of the rules weight than they used to. With a good group, that knows their game, things can zip along nicely.
