It's a devil. Nethersight probably let's you see through even magical darkness. (Presumably still available to Warlocks, and I'd wager a guess that creatures from Shadowfell get it as well.)
It would also make sence if it included "detect good" and/or other such properties. After all, no good paladin would try sneaking past them. :)

ps. I wonder when the "D&D is becoming a MMO" crowd draw links with "nethersight" and World of Wracraft. :p

I hope not : I really wish we won't see "detect alignment" ever again. Talk about killing a plot.

* What is this perception/spot thing ? I thought skills would be consolidated.

edit : perception 5 + skill focus (spot) = +10. But we know monsters don't use feat.

* Maybe immortal is a new "outsider" type. Humanoid refers only to the basic shape of the creature.

* poison 5... A counter like in magic the gathering ? Remember the condition track... Or maybe it's a kind of threshold ? Or just basic damage ?

* HP = 47, Con = 14. If we assume "level 6" and "+2 hp per level", that would mean "5.8 hp per level" Roughly.
47 is a prime number, however... So, I'm not even sure that there is a formula to calculate hp. Or if it is, there is something added to the total after the multiplication.

BTW : big thanks to the OP : this is the first REAL bit of rules we have about 4e.
Huzzah !

My guess:

"Hit Dice" = 5 HP per level, double "Hit Dice" at first level
Con = 14 (+2), you get 2 Bonus HP per level

At first level: 2 * 5 + 2 = 12 hp
At level 6: (1+6) * 5 + 6 * 2 = 47 hp

Did you notice that the melee attack was vs. AC

and the ranged attack was vs. Ref defense

?????

Well, it seems like a special attack (not your typical bow and arrow shot). Special attacks often target Fort, Ref, and Will. So I don't see anything too strange about that.

Also, too, we have to remember that the minis game might not be a very accurate reflection on the tabletop game as far as stats go. Or IS IT?!?!? :] however, yeah, that's really interesting.

Those are the RPG stats. The Minis stats are different.

If all abilities are possitive, maybe the hitpoints are growing only with the Constiution bonus (now when everyone has it). So that would take +5 (Con) x 6 (levels) = 30. Plus somehow 17 as a base, for immortal humanoid devil or whatever.
