Just wondering if there's any other NHS-relying-on tea-drinking poor-weather-suffering fellow Brits on here who've pre-ordered from anywhere online? I had a look at Amazon but the earliest they said they'd deliver was the first week of July!

(Couldn't see a search function anywhere or maybe I'm just blind - apologies if this has already been asked!)

Well, I'm in the UK and I'm waiting on Amazon. :)

However, I'm going to be attending an in-store event on the Saturday the game comes out, so I'll pick up a PHB there - I know I should be able to pass it on to a friend once my own books come through.

www.leisuregames.co.uk

I have a long tradition of ordering from them and they've never let me down. I expect to get my Core Rules bundle within 1 or 2 days of release. Also includes the added bonus that I'm effectively ordering from a FLGS, with not so much of the 'L'.

According to the owner of my local gaming shop the books aren't even in the country yet. Supposedly they'll arrive tomorrow.

My amazon (pre)order still stands at an estimated delivery date of 6-9 June. However, I was not pleased with the way they handled the KotS debacle. Luckily I got my copy from a friendly (but not cheap and not so local) store I managed to get to after the release date.

Has anyone actually managed to get a KotS from Amazon.co.uk at all? 9I cancelled my order)

I was also pleasantly surprised that my local Waterstones turned out to have 4 copies of KotS a few days after release date. (It's not that big, and they said they couldn't order it a couple of days before)

*shrug* Amazon has a delivery date of 12th-18th June for me (free delivery). Last thing I ordered from Leisure Games didn't turn up for 4 months, and they didn't answer the e-mails I sent them.

My FLGS is estimating 4-6 June.

I'm expecting them in at where I work, waterstones monday/tuesday (i hope). I'm running an arena survival event on the 6th (King Street, Lancaster 4pm-8pm, Friday the 6th)

Never trust amazons predictions. Mine says June 6th. And they are on free delivery, im still going to lfgs to pick up a phb though.

Yes. I got the "delayed" email on Friday, the "shipped" email Saturday, and the parcel arrived on Wednesday (free shipping). Not bad considering there was a Bank Holiday on Monday. I wasn't too worried about delay, as my players want to wait till the core books are out so they can create their own characters. For £11.21 all in, I'm happy enough.

It's sunny in Scotland at the moment. No, really!

Actually, the weather has been pretty decent up here for most of May, barring a couple of days of greyness and rain.

If I decide to get the books (leaning towards 'no' at the moment), I'll be getting them from my FLGS next weekend or the weekend after. Basically, as soon as they've got them. If I'm really impressed, I might pick up a second Gift Set from Amazon (US) to take advantage of the 45% discount.
