5 point touch attack for any character

Dragon 316 contains, under the article "cloack & dagger" the "poison ring", a ring with a needle intended to be poisoned.

Unfortunately it deals 1 point of damage on a successful touch attack, in addition to dealing poison damage.

Luckily it wasn't designated a weapon type or size, or we'd be in trouble from people using it to deliver power attacks...

Especially once they start using the Huge version as a two-handed weapon dealing 1d3, plus double PA...

You forgot thumb rings. Wear them facing inwards and slap the guy for 5 damage per hand. 5d2 with Righteous Might! That's better average damage then a longsword. :D

guys guys guys....you forgot about Divine Favor, Divine might, and taking some arcane caster levels and using the Arcane strike feat...sack a 3rd level spell for +3 to hit and +3d4 damage to each ring for the round...

I got this image of someone wielding a huge, spiked, golden doughnut in both hands, screaming curses and smashing people in the head...

Five rings on each hand, 20th level rogue, does 10+110d6 damage... (average 395) plus poison. Wyvern poison, then, for 2d6 Con primary and secondary (fort save DC 17 per hit) for a possible 20d6... that's an average of 70 points of Con damage. Even if the target only fails a couple saves, next round their Fort save will be lower from what Con loss they did take... A vicious cycle indeed.

Well, we really better balance all this out with a couple penalties. Let's see... every fourth night, they have to pray to the stars for 2 hours, which they can do while on watch. Also, they have to learn to play the piccalo.

There! All balanced.

Don't forget to add Wounding in there somewhere for more Con damage...
