5' Step Question

This question is way out there and I doubt there is any answer to get a 'yes' to this, but I'm gonna give it a try for curiosity's sake.

Is there anyway to increase a 5' step to a 10' step?

As I said, I doubt, but just curious.

Yes! But, I can't remember how... kinda useless info... but there is something. I'm sure someone here knows what it is. Think of this post as a teaser. ;)

Not exactlywhat you're looking for, but the elocater's capricious step grants you two 5ft-steps instead of one (so, it's even better). Said PrC is in the XPsiH

Magic Item!

Arms & Equipment Guide has a magic item called the Sparring Dummy of the Master which works like an inherent bonus tome: the character uses it for a certain period of time stretched over a certain number of days and when they are done they can move ten feet whenever they take a "five"foot step..

While this isn't exactly what you are looking for, there is a feat called Sidestep in the miniHB which allows you to take a 5' step after you make an Attack of Opportunity (only useable once per round, no matter how many AoOs you make). So it can potentially give you an extra 5' step each round. Like I said, not exactly what you were looking for.

That's what I was thinking of. :) I don't own the book myself, though. I'm missing out.

It frightens me that there are apparently several ways of possibly increasing the 5' step to a 10' step. If you can take a 10' step for free without drawing an attack of opportunity, wow, that's gotta throw pretty much the rest of the tactical aspect of combat out of whack. It's definitely going to nerf reach, for one thing.
