Interesting that the DMG will, first, have a complete campaign Setting (Greyhawk Confirmed?), but also several Adventures. Teaching hiw to build a whole campaign by example, I guess? Majes the DMG sort of match the recent Setting books with mini-camoaigns ..
Like I said, Dungeon magazine did this at least twice back in 4e (maybe 3 also?).....and they have great examples in there on how to do that. They could almost copy and paste those articles......

Yeah, I wasn't expecting to hear the words "full campaign" and "multiple adventures" when they were talking about the new DMG.

Well, they hinted at there being a sample Adventure and Setting previously (there us a poster map, too), but thus makes it sound rather robust.

Sample campaign setting and one adventure, yeah. Full campaign and multiple adventures? I didn't see that coming.
With you there, but thinking back on it the chapter after the Adventure sample and guidelines is for campaign building and guidelines...and what better way to demonstrate how to string together a campaign that multiple example Adventures?

So, question ai...are these going to be new Perkins/Wyatt joints (which would be great), or are we going to see some classic Adventures repurposed as samples?

Anybody have the slightest thoughts kn what could end up in Infinite Staircase? The setup basically means they could use anything, from anywhere....

Now that I think about it, they did go on extolling virtues of Hommlet. If the setting in the DMG is indeed Greyhawk (which I'm 99% sure it will simply because it's the completely logical choice), then it seems to me that re-doing Hommlet in the DMG makes sense.

My bet on the adventures in the DMG would be remakes of shorter old adventures. They would save resources that way.

As far as the Infinite Staircase adventures....I don't even know where to start at the moment...but how about that Terrible Trouble at Tragidore adventure from one of the 2nd edition DM's Screens?

That makes a lot of sense! So they could easily reprint any adventures that include Hommlet with the 5e glow up.

Very, very possible. It would be both a great practical example and usable Advebrure, it would fit in well with the Golden Anniversary nostalgia they are leaning into at the same time.

B2 is another possibility, providing a nice drag and drop home base and starter dungeon.
