Now that Kyuss have access to 10th lvl spells, shouldn't Vecna too?

Vecna does: "1/day each: all divination, illusion, and necromancy spells of 9th - 12th level,..."

However, now that I have worked on epic spells a little more , divination and illusion at least, if not all, should be limited to 11th level. Technically you need to have a CR of 36 to cast 12th level spells. Maybe his portfolio will allow him to attain 12th level epic necromancy spells. Of course he could still cast a lower level spell at a higher spot, but he should not, typically, have access to 12th level epic spells.

Iggwilv was provided stats in the Savage Tides AP in Dungeon magazine. Issue #149 I think. She is listed as CR 30, though my version will be much lower.
She even was the most powerfull creature in the whole AP. Theoretically her CR was only 30 compared to Demogorgon's 36, but she had a full epic level PC build (Wizard26/Archmage4 IIR and including epic spellcasting feat) while big D only had a monster statblock that supposedly was CR36.

Too powerful in my book. I have only just started on her, but I am guessing her CR will be closer to 20 than 30.

That's interesting that Demogorgon wasn't given any epic goodies since the Kyuss version from the Age of Worms AP had some epic abilities (divine rank 1 or 0 - I don't remember)

IMO unintentional just due to the fact that a true PC-class build is just more powerfull than a bunch of outsider HD with extra abilites.
DvR 1 normally, but if the PC succeeded in all steps to weaken him he was reduced to DvR 0 for the fight

That makes sense. I'm really not very familiar with 3e/3.5e and the Epic Level Handbook PCs as I never played 3e. I played 1e for 20 years and then moved to 4e and now 5e. Skipped 2e and 3e all together. I still got some of the books, but we never actually played them.
