Nodding at his diminutive companions and motioning them to follow, Quentin continues to approach tainted spring.

"There was something or someone up in the trees following our path. Keep your eyes peeled for the threat from above."

Zivar pulls himself free with Mims help and rushes away from the vines as quickly as his little legs will take him.

Shaken, but glad to be free of the vines Zivar follows Quentin's instructions, keeping an eye out in the trees as he continues behind Quentin.

[sblock=Quentin]Quentin feels something touching the edge of his mind, and for a moment, sees the Spring as a vat of boiling acid. However, the image fades, leaving a spring as pure and clear as any he has ever seen.[/sblock]

The group approaches the spring, which, surprisingly, looks pure and clear.

"Hmmph!" a voice says somewhere above them, clearly frustrated.

Mim points his weapon to the sky."Show your self" the Kenku's sentence is punctuated with a angry growl.

Quentin waits for several moments to see if there is a response. If there is none, he calls out in common.
"We're not here to hurt you or despoil the spring. Come out and let us talk. I'm sure we can reach some agreement."

Zivar is frankly shocked to not find a raging torrent of acid. He cautiously approaches the spring, as he gets close he looks for signs of life in the water, and investigates the area around it for any signs of damage.

Zivar investigates the spring, finding it pristine. There is no damage, nor signs of acid.

Behind everyone, a small figure appears. It looks like a small woman, about a foot tall, wearing a gown that appears to be made from flower petals. She has a cute face that is currently scrunched up in indignation, which consequently makes her look more cute than scary. Her arms are crossed, her fingers tapping on her arm, as if waiting on something.

OOC: You may make insight checks to see what you can tell about her posture, and you can make nature checks to see if you know what she is.
