OOC: Grody spends most of his class-time in the school of the arcane focussing on his heritage. The little time ouside of that, he does his best to sneak into earshot of some select skill classes. He knows he's not invited, but wants to learn some 'people' skills and he's already fairly sneaky anyways so shouldn't draw too much attention to himself.

Squirrels are evil!

Dariana manages to sneak into some lessons at the school of nature, but is quickly caught out. She toys with the idea of the Immortal School, but while their mind-body-focus ideas are appealing, they don't line up with her "oneness" with the bow. She ends up spending all of her time at the Combat School.

OOC: If there was any synergy between Monk and Archery, she'd try going for the Immortal School. Sadly, there is not.

Jordy spends most of his time at the Arcane school, struggling to master his inner power. He spends some time at the school of Combat, to learn to use some basic weapons like daggers and slings, and at the school of Skill, to learn to hone his Insight.

Become strong, I can help with. Fly, I can help with. Protecting your friends..." she giggles, "A bit pedestrian, don't you think? Of course, what you do with your life is up to you. You certainly have potential, but I don't give my power to just anyone, and I have no need for a goody two shoes who 'just wants to protect his friends'.

"But I might be able to use you. Tell me, what relationship do you have with...pranks?"[/sblock]

Mims face lights up at this comment"Ask him about my pranks." Mim pulls Barnabus out his pouch and holds him at Morgana's eye level.
OOC: Argh! We're doomed. If ever I catch you putting fish/acorns/live weasels or powder(s) into my stuff, I'll kill you :p

Quentin focuses on combat school, but spends part of his time with the thespians in the College of Skill. About once a week or whenever he catches some time, he goes into the Divine School looking for someone who knows about Deep Sachelas. Or anyone he can go swimming with. The rest of the time he tries to get Raven on a date unless she or her ancestor(s) object :)

The Academy/School of Combat
Late Fall/Morning
Round 0

Asherah lay back on the floor, her vision narrowing, her body in incredible pain. But she felt power flowing through her. It felt familiar, yet new. Her vision wavered and a face loomed over her, a Tabaxi, with orange and black striped fur. He was dressed in armor with a large sword on his back.

“Rest,” he said, his fingers brushing her eyes to close them. “All will be well, Favored One.”

Asherah awoke in the school infirmary. Her injuries had been healed and she rose stiffly. Power crackled between her fingers. It looked familiar, like the energy she saw her relatives channel in their clerical rites. She felt a strength in her body that hadn’t been there before.

Despite the urgings of the nurses, Asherah left the infirmary and walked to one of the chapels in the School of the Divine. As she entered, some spell effect wavered over the place, changing the decor so it looked like one of the shrines her people worshiped at. But not like those of her family, the shrines to Felis. No, this shrine had a martial theme, scenes of battle.

Kneeling before the altar, Asherah breathed out a low growl. “Tigrr.”

The image on the altar wavered, grew, and stepped down. “I am here, Favored One,” he said, raising his hand in blessing over her.

“This...This is...I am not of the warrior caste,” Ashera blurted out. “I am not worthy enough to serve you.”

“Do you doubt the will of your god?” Tigrr growled.

“No!” Asherah gasped, prostrating herself. “Never!”

“Then go, learn. Know that I have chosen you. Your path will be difficult, but know I am with you.”

The shrine grew silent and Asherah remained there prostrate for an hour before she rose and headed to the School of the Divine.

***

During the next few months, Asherah split her time between the combat school, learning to use her weapons, and the divine school, learning to hone the power she felt inside of her.
