The Jann is a jerk and I hope he gets some comeuppance. Husam only knows how to do that through force though which isn't really appropriate. So, fingers crossed that Harun can pull something sneaky on the uppity guy.

At the moment, Husam is drinking tea to be hospitable and doesn't have anything to offer in the way of healing so he wouldn't volunteer to be one of the two going back. Who wants to go?

See, Lal thought he was odd, shifty and annoying, but when he was revealed to have been helping the caravanserai his opinion shifted and he considered giving him a gift... buuuut if it turns out the Jann is involved in the attacks, well then... that is crossing the "axe to the face" threshold.

We don't have enough to even accuse him of anything, do we? Our sha'ir has some knowledge, but would even that (if shared) be enough to suspect him in the raids? Why would he be helping these people? And what's the deal with his stolen water? Argh! Husam is busy sipping tea and maintaining etiquette while there are mysteries afoot!

I agree though. If he had any part in the attacks or the hydra, then helping him into the next life is the least we could do to repay him.

Hehehe, we don't know anything yet. What Salhuddin knows is justification for wariness, but we don't know the specifics here. A jann raider could be magically bound for example, and not currently a threat to anyone. Or he could be the real ringleader here, and the women and children ensorcelled human shields. Or anything in between.

Best to stay alert, make some insight checks (which I need to do actually), and keep our wits about us. There are oddities afoot.

Like...the Jann lost his water, right? And the hydra guards the pool. And travelers stopped coming.

...so where are they getting water from?

Husam is blissfully drinking the poisoned tea to maintain hospitality. I'm sure a few of our more 'covert' minded comrades might find some time to shine here.

No we don't have anything concrete yet - heck most of the party doesn't know what Salahudin has just learned. We shall see soon enough.

As far as who should go with Lal... the Vizer? High social skill, high social standing, healing magic.... seems obvious? ;)
