Studded Leather 8 +1 = 9 Sounds like people are gunning against this for 'realism'. All the reason I need to boost it.

Plate 15 - 2 = 13 The Actually unrealistic armor considering how heavy and impossible it's portrayed to be.

Frodo demonstrated you only need the shirt.

I mean his chain shirt was made of Mythril so there's maybe more than a slight chance that it's a bit of an outlier in the data?

i don't hate it (just) because it's unrealistic, i hate it because it should be brigandine, which is far cooler anyway
