@Gradine since you continued to be wowed by my upvoting of the Life domain, thought I'd clear up the mystery. I'm voting for Life because I've played one to level 14 and had someone play one in a game I DMed and I can say that the Life domain is positively awesome from both sides of the table in my experience :)

Forge Domain 9
Grave Domain 25 - 2 = 23
Knowledge Domain 24
Life Domain 4 + 1 = 5
Light Domain 22
Tempest Domain 22
War Domain 14

I'm not a huge "fan" of any particular domain, but Life is definitely a solid option out of the box, without feeling overpowered compared to both the other cleric subclasses, or other classes than cleric.

And honestly, what's wrong with playing a cleric that plays like....you know...a cleric?

(That said, I'm on Team Tempest. I loved my storm cleric.)

Oh, Cleric is a great class, and Domains are probably the best designed set of archetypes (individually and as a whole). But then, there's only one Domain that's offered in the free version of the game. What was that version called again? Oh right.

For me it's just not interesting. Good, yes. Interesting, no. I've been bored by healers since 1e. I find Forge, Grave, Knowledge, Tempest and War to be far more interesting to roleplay. Light.......................Light is right behind Life for being uninteresting to me and will be my next target.

See, to me no subclasses are interesting. It's the characters that can be interesting or not. Bard College of Whispers has been mentioned to me as an "interesting" subclass, but I've seen some incredibly boring Whispers bards. It all depends on how it's played.

That's why I said, "...to be far more interesting to roleplay." ;)

Those domains give me more interesting(to me) things to work with.
