I guess I just see it as running afoul of the rule against third-party subclasses: "Only the subclasses written by Wizards of the Coast qualify. No third-party entries!"I think people should base their votes on any reason they like. Doesn't have to be mechanically-based. Doesn't have to be flavor-based; I think some of the least flavorful subclasses have won. I also think that homebrew reworks aren't a reason to vote down anything. I also like a Sorcerer tweak, and there is absolutely no problem with Sorcerers as a class; I just like the tweak better.
