hey, the CR 4 Helmed Horror has a 20 AC. Is that right? The ancient dragon only has AC 19.

Only if you have 10 pairs of dice. The post I was responding to was assuming you don't have 10 pairs of dice. Obviously, if you do, you just roll them.

Your post assumes people have ten d20's--and to be fair, I bet most of us older gamers (30+) do.

Oh god that was ridiculous. And it's not like you can pick up a handful of 20 dice; they need to be rolled in pairs.

Do we need to revoke your DM's license for not having at least 10 pairs of different colored d20s? need we also check your monopoly set to see if it still retains its d6s?

When I was up at Jasper National Park in Canada last week, one of the Park Wardens told me that elk were considered the most dangerous animal in the park. And the park is fully of grizzly bears, wolf packs and cougars. (And this year we've already had deaths attributed to grizzly bears and attacks by cougars).

The things can have antlers over a meter long.

That makes me really, really, want to add elk to my game. Elk stampede anyone?
