I can't wait until I get the Pacific and Europe games, and make my friends play one giant game of A&A!!!
I sometimes miss the classic A&A, but the new ones have not been at all bad.
The Auld Grump
I don't know if I miss the old game. The new ones have really improved upon the basic premise with better rules, better board lay out, more options, and just general better over all playability. I really enjoy the variety of the new games and the different ways they play.
The original is not so good anymore, and the revised was okay, but I felt the anniversary edition was not much fun. I don't find there are a lot of ways to do things differently. And too much time between turns. And too much reliance on dice. Otherwise, it's okay, I guess.![]()
