A bridge (attn. Skarnkai)

"Even a man like a mountain can be defeated by a smaller but more ferocious opponent. And if I can't bring down this brute with honor, I won't respect his, either!"

Move:
The rabbit brutalizes the canyon; parries the efforts of the honor!

*once again he feels the battle slipping into his opponent's hands...*

The dragon punches above the island; fends off the chi of the root so it negates the assailment of the heart!

(TWO dragon punches? sheesh =P)

*He backs up and gathers strength from the fire and earth spirits and unleashes it in a punch aimed for his opponent head, fending off and chi powered kicks and negates any attack aimed at his heart and chest*

To avoid becoming too predictable to his opponent, the wanderer tries some unorthodox moves, all the while trying not to get back to predictable techniques again.

Move:
The turtle leaps atop the madlands; fends off the edge of the water!

The judge shakes his head. "Using a fighter's own signature style against him is pure foolishness."

*hopes to shift the momentum in his favor with this strategy*

The raven slays the savanna; guards against the assailment of the willow!

*leaping high into the air, he turns upside down in mid-air and rakes his opponent with his claws, and then lands hard killing the grass underneath him. He watches to see if his opponent tries to use a staff or spear move to knock him out of the air*

Strength and grace against immobile rigidity shall prevail, shedding light on even a cat moving in the night.

Move:
The ki-rin glides near the tower; parts the foray of the cat!

[ooc: So signature styles don't just get you an additional point when you use them, but also help you not to lose rounds when someone else tries to use them against you?

Also, do dojo styles work like signature styles in both or either of these regards? I'm asking because I'm judging a match where a fighter just won a round with his dojo style...

Thanks! :)]

ooc: Dojo Styles have the same effect as sig styles, AFAIK, they are just acquired differently. Winning a round with one gives you an extra point, and you are immune to them if they are used against you.

The judge leans back and smiles at the attacks. "Ki-rins are rare sights these days... such a pity, that is. Seeing one of them is even better than the amazing sights I see every time I judge a match. True ogres, who woulda thought?"

The tiger shreds the ruins; grasps the speed of the honor!

*frustrated at how much of a fight his opponent is putting up, he tries to knock him over and shred him with his claws, ruining his clothing. He moves fast for a creature of his size and his grasp is firm*

Move:
The turtle assails the city so fast that it swims atop the swamp; protects against the aggression of the arrow.

"I wish I were the one who knows the way of the turtle." :(
