A Clash of Earth and Sea (El Jefe Judging) [See Part II]

Opale move foward, and when she is in reach, she casts Grease spell under the Merrow who is weilding the dagger, in hope to see him fall on his back, unable to attack properly, and seeing his friend taking advantage of the situation.

[Still looking for actions from Charlarn and Iggy]

Round 3 Continues
With the Merrow flat on its back (and taking a -4 to AC for being prone) Jack is able to quickly deal 21 damage. He is flanking with Ducane, which also provides a +2 attack bonus and allows for the sneak attack damage. The Merrow is staggered.

Stubbornly, the Merrow attempts to stand up again. The effort knocks it unconcious, and also provokes AOO's from Ducane and Jack. (Roll if you wish.)

The spear wielding merrow has had enough of this fight, and hustles away at its best speed into the dark.

Do you pursue?

Planus moves forward, dodging around the grease to avoid slipping. He excitedly says, "Good work guys!" as he moves passed the others. His first move takes him just inside the tunnel (D11) thanks to longstrider. Knowing that he won't be able to take down the merrow alone and that his shorter companions can't move so quickly, he stops where he is an prepares to shoot anyone coming at them up the hallway.

OOC: Wow, two max damage sneak attacks for Jack! Sorry I didn't mention longstrider earlier. With the long duration, I've started thinking of Planus as having speed 40. With his lowlight vision, Planus can see clearly out to A11-12 and shadowy illumination another 40 feet passed that. If he can see the other merrow (doubtful) he will go ahead and shoot at it immediately. If Ducane starts down the hallway before Planus's turn (not sure if he acted this round), Planus will double move to catch up. Sorry for all the conditions!

Opale quickly recharge and shoot at the running Merrow. If she can't see him she will estimate the location and try to shoot him.

[SBLOCK=OOC]With him making all the hall wide, I think a shot straight foward is most likely to get him... but with a 14 to hit, I can't hit him in the normal condition, so I doubt it hit...[/SBLOCK]

Charlarn of Phyrah: male human cleric 3/ranger 2

Charlarn blows out a breath and pulls his hand from his haversack. He grabs his morningstar again. "You tell me when you want to be healed." Charlarn rushes (40 ft. double move) after the fleeing merrow (applies Dodge AC bonus against it).

AC 17; 18 against the fleeing merrow.
HP 32/32

Round 3: Iggy can move another 20 feet and fire this round. This would bring him to J11. He doesn't have a good shot here, so he won't take it. He doesn't want to risk hitting his friends. Instead he double moves, to F11. "Come on!" He shouts to his friends. His next actions, though, depend upon what he can see down the corridor.

Jack Haggerty: Halfling Ftr2/Rog2, AC 19, hp 21/25

Fairly certain that his downed ogre won't survive, Jack steps into the hallway to see if pursuit is feasible...

Jack is making a single movement around the Grease to C11, and follow Ducane's lead from there.

I don't think you'll ever get to heal Jack or Ducane during a combat, unless they're unconscious on the ground... :p
