A Clash of Earth and Sea (El Jefe Judging) [See Part II]

"No point wandering the halls. Let's try the door. Jack?" says Iggy. He stops and keeps an eye out down the corridor leading to the water, crossbow loaded & ready.

Charlarn pushes open the door. There seems to be a lot of junk in the room. Broken beds, a bashed up chest, broken pottery and cookware, and miscellaneous rubbish. The only movement in the room seems to come from some rodents scurrying about and from something suspended from the ceiling near the door, the latter item apparently disturbed by the door opening.

Opale keep an eye on there back, to make sure there is no one that would be come from ther back. She feels some move in her pocket... Naga didn't had some fresh meet from some times, and had smelled the rodent. "Not now, Naga. And that one is too big for you anyway." she whispers to her viper.

Ignoring the room full of junk, including the item suspended from the ceiling (which seems to be a glass case of some sort) the party heads north. after about 60 feet, the passageway turns east and then quickly widends into a room. There is no door.

"I don't think we should take the time to search. Let's head back South." says Iggy.

Is there anything to indicate what this room is used for? Iggy will stop and have another look at the glass case when they pass the closet door again.

I think you misunderstand me. There's a room ahead of you, you aren't close enough for your light sources to illuminate the inside of it yet, but you've noticed that there is no door between the hallway and the room. It's an open archway.

Does that make sense?
