This room seems to be the sleeping quarters for 4 of the Merrow. Straw mats and piles of personal belongings are in each of the corners. An open hallway continues beyond the room, still eastbound, on the other side.

Charlarn agrees with Ignatious and Planus. "We should find the way out before the merrow returns with others. East is as good a place as any. I do want to look at the glass case if we have time, though."
 

The party continues eastward, until the tunnel turns to the south. Up ahead, you see what appears to be another room. Once again, the Merrow have failed to put in a door.
 


As you move towards the room, there's a roar of challenge as the Merrow within sees your light. He's a big one, possibly a sub-chief of some sort, and he carries an axe rather than a longspear.
