Iggy is protected by an endure elements spell. He let's Sara borrow his winter blanket to wrap around herself as she walks. Shall I make a roll for Iggy's pony O'Toole? Probably. here goes: 7. Probably not good enough, so I won't bother looking up his bonus...
 

"The sooner we get out of here, the better." Ducane makes a mental note to buy survival gear for his next trip to the mountains. He succeeds at stopping himself from freezing to half-death this time.

OOC: Since Charlarn succeeded in the survival roll, Ducane fails only one saving throw and takes 2 points of cold damage, which is healed by Charlarn later. Sorry I've been quiet lately.
 

Typo above! I should have said DC 15 fortitude save, not survival check. You may also make a survival check if you wish, to gain a bonus to your save and or the saves of others. Looks like Zack missed his survival check, he may still make a fortitude save.
 

Sara, who is pretty full of herself (with cause in this case), would have handed the blanket off to one of the new guys, at least during the day. She keeps an eye out for firewood and gathers it as she can without sowing down too much on the trail, so if they do find a place to stop they won't have to venture far from it. When the snow starts, she says to charlarn, "Um, you think now would be a good time to sart looking for that cave or something?"

"Yeah. There's a storm coming. We should look for shelter soon." Charlarn looks at the shivering Zack and uses his second endure elements on him. (Fort save: 13 forgot the +2 from the successful Survival check, so it's actually a 15.) His fingers start to tingle.

0-detect magic, guidance, light, mending;
1-bless, endure elements, endure elements, sanctuary*;
2-hold person, locate object*, status.
*Domain spell.
 

Searching around for shelter, you are able to locate a cave mouth not too far from the road. You have also managed to gather a usefull supply of wood as you traveled.

"OK, lets do this RIGHT this time...." Sara drops her armload of wood and draws both swords with an entirely unneccassary dramatic flourish. "Iggy, Charlarn, can either of you two make a bunch of light? Anyway, I'll go in, if I start screaming and it doesn't sound like I'm having fun, come help. Personally, I'm hoping for wild boars. Entertaining and delicious."
