Initiative
Ducane 22
Sara 16
Zack 16
Iggy 15
1st Gargoyle 14
Charlarn 4

Per Sara's request to keep this a bit easier to read, you may want to wait until after the monster goes before you post your action. If you want to change an action and your initiative order hasn't come up yet, you may edit your original post. In this case, please leave the original post intact (possibly inside a spoiler block or using strikeout) and Identify the new text clearly (such as by typing "Edit: Changed my mind after seeing sara do 400 damage to the Titan in one shot, instead Iggy will cast Spider Climb on himself and do chin ups while Sara kills everything in sight.")

Combat map to follow.

ooc:

Sara will delay until Iggy casts a spell on one of her swords, then run out and make a target of herself.

Iggy

OOC: I don't see a precise description of what's going on, but presumably we're outside a building, but in a walled-in compound. Looking up, we see one gargoyle swooping down at us.

IC: Iggy sees the enemy and hustles to get near Sara, his friend and protector (he's probably near her anyway). He mutters his magic spell and touches one of Sara's blades.

OOC2: Cast magic weapon on Sara's short sword. Standard action, lasts 4 minutes.

Gargoyle battle Spells(4+1 div/3+1 int+1 div/2+1int+1div): ray of frost(x2), light, acid splash, color spray, magic weapon(x2), true strike, magic missile, detect thoughts, scorching ray(x3)

Ack, I thought I'd get the combat map done faster than you all'd post on a holiday weekend!

Ok, since you're running allong ahead of me, let me give you more of a description while I mess with the map:

You are inside the main building in the compound. Through the door and window to your north, you can see the gargoyle flying above the compound. Several of the inhabitants were working outside at the time, and at this point the gargoyle seems focused on those defenseless targets. If it's noticed any of you specifically, it hasn't shown any sign.

"I'll go and try to draw it away from attacking the noncombatants.", Ducane says and moves outside. When he gets outside, he shouts "Over here, stone-face!", to the Gargoyle, and readies to attack it if it comes within reach.

OOC: Using dodge at the Gargoyle so AC 17 vs. it. Ready Action Attack Roll 18, Damage 13.

Charlarn of Phyrah: Male human cleric 3/ranger 1

OOC: I'm back. :)

Charlarn is shocked that the gargoyles have decided to attack the camp. Once the surprise has worn off, he straps on his shield and grabs a platinum ring from his pouch. Leaving his heavy pack behind, he rushes over to Zack. The cleric hands the ring to the scythe-wielding warrior. "Here, put this on. It'll allow me assume some of your injuries through the grace of the Searcher."
