Late in the day, a small hooded and cloaked man tacks this piece of parchment on the message board and slinks away. The note is covered in elaborate and spiky calligraphy, and bears an odd seal that looks much like a man crushed by a massive boot.


Let it be known that this is the word of the great Warlord, Baron Massacre Von Hackenslash!

The one named Ramsus, sometimes the Eccentric! The Warlord has determined you shall be his new advisor, as his last advisor has failed miserably and been consigned to a grievous fate far worse than you can possibly imagine.

The one named Bari! The Warlord has denied your feeble request to be his court jester, for he has discovered a wretch far more entertaining. Do not persist in your inquiries, or suffer torture far worse than you can possibly imagine.

The one who is Paragon of Celestia! Know that the Warlord has not forgotten his debt to you, and it will be paid in full, with properly evil interest (because he is a great Warlord), though with no deference whatsoever the mighty Baron acknowledges that you might be able to imagine such evil.

Those who would profane or defile this note! Fools, no one can profane or defile this note to the extent that the mighty Baron has! Indeed, the very process of penning this note is a vile ritual involving wicked depravity, the depths of which you cannot possibly imagine! He scoffs at your miserable attempts at evil, and counsels you all to become paladins.
