Good suggestions so far. Gamer bag, Koplow Suede, but also look for Renfair/Larping bags.

I just got a bag from ravenswood leather. It was a simple leather bag and you get to choose your color.

Renfair season is mostly over but if you know of one near you it's a great place to find people doing leather work. Most of them have a few bags made.

Renfaire season might be over in your area, but around here it just started.

Actually Salem, Ma has shops that carry leather pouches year round. There is a significant ren/wiccan/new age community there (as much as some of the locals try to deny it.)
