Just got back from the theatre... really liked this film. It was well made and Viggo's performance was outstanding. My major complaint is based entirely on the fact that the people in the theatre were not mature enough to handle the two fairly graphic sex scenes and their giggling and laughing made it awkward for everyone!

I liked it too. Cronenberg doesn't pull any punches with the violence or sex, and I thought that was very refreshing. It did seem to be lacking something though, even if I can't put my finger on exactly what. I walked out of the theater entertained, but still vaguely unsatisfied.

We had a discussion on the way home from the film last night talking about how it may have been *more* satisfying if
Viggo's character didn't actually turn out to be Joey
. *shrugs* Food for thought.

I want to see it but will probably have to wait until it is released on DVD. I don't get the chance to go to the theater's much.

I have not seen this yet, and probably will wait until DVD release. Movies are just so expensive. I saw Serenity at a "cheaper" theater in town and it was 17 bones for my girlfriend and I. I will be able to buy the DVD for less than that when it comes out.

Also I am afraid that I would be immature and giggle at the sex scenes.
