Jamestown Colony/Manor House
Morning
Round 0

Arjhan growled. There was only one. He swung mightily with his greatclub at the spectre. Unfortunately, the undead creature was too quick.

Leonan quickly checks the altar and the flowers. He moves the items around to mess with any ritual positioning and intentionally removes any personal items or effects even going so far to destroy something that looks ritualistic. The altar is empty after his attention, flowers removed and their positions scrambled, items put aside or broken. He does this as fast as he can, before someone (braver and less wounded than he) opens the door.

Must have tabbed accidentally :) Sorry all. Glitch around wild sorcerer, happens all the time, really.

Silly neurotic...

As you each try and overwhelm the specter, another one appears behind you. As the first specter moves to join it's ally, Tarukka's thunder dissipates the specter. The remaining specter tries to swipe at Arjhan.

Ramas quickly launches a blast of fire at the newly appeared ghost, wishing there was someone he could call to deal with a situation like this.

Tarukka swings at this new threat hoping to destroy it before it touches anyone else. And the skill of the strange bladesinger shows, the blade neatly bisecting the spirits neck. But it isn't flesh and blood for such strike to be lethal and the spirit only wails in anguish.

Take extra 1d8 thunder damage if the moves.

"In the name of the High Captain, I banish thee to the afterlife! And may he have mercy on your soul!"
Luthor shouts encouragement even as his magical weapon batters at the ephemeral stuff of spirits body.

Thren pounces on this new threat like, well, like a cat pounces on a mouse. He was unsure if his attacks would have any effect on the spectral creatures and he would surely do more research on the undead if he survived this.

The new threat was overpowered almost instantly. Ramas' bolt singed its essence, as Tarukka and Luthor lay into the creature with surprising might. In the end it was Thren's flying kick that silenced the specter. The force of the monk's kick sent him through the now dissipating creature and into the suspicious wall. His foot broke several bricks revealing a set of spiral stairs going up and down. From the looks of things, the stairs go at least two stories up and 1 story down.
