"Kruk, I have these two for now, the other is all yours!" Raiyek calls. He spends a moment looking for a pattern in the female's dodges, and then lets out a yell as he makes a vicious thrust at her, his eyes and blade glowing with golden light. As he recovers from the strike he lashes out towards the other cloaked figure next to him, keeping him occupied as well.
[sblock=Actions]Minor: use Hunter's Quarry on the female. She remains my quarry til the end of my next turn.

Standard: Piercing Smite vs. the Female: 1d20+7-2=12 vs. Ref, 2d10+3+1d6=14 damage. Using elven accuracy to reroll the attack: 1d20+7-5=21 vs. Ref. Hah, that's better! On a hit, the female and cloak 1 are marked by me until the end of my next turn.

[sblock=OOC]
Attack and Damage rolls for Viper's Strike (1d20+6=22, 1d10+4=13) - hits Cloak 2's AC 20 (forgot concealment again, arg!) for 13 damage.
If Cloak 2 shifts before the start of my next turn, it provokes an opportunity attack from Kruk.

So, I'm next in the initiative order after Raiyek and the female - for future reference, should I post my actions now or wait for you (renau1g) to resolve the female's actions first? [/sblock]

The woman looks at Raiyek coldly, but she calmly bides her time for now.

Kruk yells towards Raiyek "Got it..." He's about ready to attack the cloak enemy to his right when he sees it explode. "What the....aggghhhh!...my eyes!...not again! (reference to echoes of O). Turning on the balls of his feet he swings with all of his might towards the remaining cloaked guy (taking advantage of flanking the fiend with Raiyek)...with the intent of hitting both enemies.

minor: none
action: cleave 1d20+8+2-5=17 for damage 1d10+4=11 plus 4 points damage on the girl leaning on the crate.
movement: shift one space to A2

kruk doesn't mark either foe

save vs. Blindness 1d20=1 (I love invisible castle :))
[/sblock]

The mighty swing makes Kruk temporarily become unbalanced, shifting one square north to A2 in order to regain it. Kruk blinks repeatedly in order to regain his sight, but cannot.

The mighty swing makes Kruk temporarily become unbalanced, but the thickness of the shadows keeps him from falling. Kruk blinks repeatedly in order to regain his sight, but cannot. The mighty dwarven warrior feels the cold seeping into his bones draining the very lifeforce from him.

The female now decides the time is right, her hand glows with black flames as she reaches out and touches Raiyek, causing an odd sensation, burning and draining the elven paladin.

The remaining cloaked figure turns to see the Paladin in a vulnerable condition and the blade pierces the elf's side, a deep wound to be sure and nearly felling the divine agent.

A third cloaked figure enters through the front door, and stabs Carolina in the back before she can react as the shadows surrounding it recede.

You can't shift, the aura is difficult terrain. You can move but it'll draw OA's from both foes. Please let me know.
[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]
Shoot...I forgot the aura does damage for those starting in it.... well can't go back now. Kruk is the first to feel the burn (well more a cold really) for 5 damage. So at anytime someone enters or starts their turn in the aura you take 5 damage

Unfortunately you can't be part of a flanking maneuver if you're blind, therefore no bonus from flanking :(, the attack misses

Female hits Raiyeks Ref 24 for 16 fire & necrotic, while the Cloak 1 crits for 14 damage. (careful what you wish for :devil:)

Carolina is backstabbed for 12 damage from Cloak 3

Grim refocuses his attention on the minion nearest him. So close, he can hear the breathing... so close. "You'll die soon, too. Don't make this harder than it has to be." His blades flash again, clumsier this time as mist wells up in his eyes. On the backswing from one of his blows, Grim clubs himself in the head with his own fist. "Ah, that's better... pain always makes the vision clear."

[sblock=mechanics]
Grim takes 5 damage for starting his turn in the aura. 25/30 hp

Minor: Grim makes Cloak #1 his Quarry
Standard: Twin Strike: attack (vs. ac) and damage (physical): (1d20+7-5=16, 1d12=11, 1d20+7-5=19, 1d12=11)
If either of those hits Cloak #1, Grim applies Hunter's Quarry damage: (1d6=3)

Save vs. Blindness (1d20=13)[/sblock]

Raiyek grits his teeth and growls from the pain. "I need aid ... soon," he says, his voice weakening as the female's deadly aura saps his vitality.
[sblock=OOC]Ouch! 30 damage, it's a good thing you didn't remember that aura til now, or else Raiyek would be down. He will go down at the start of his turn if he doesn't get some healing though, so some help would be appreciated ...[/sblock]

I'll stay where I am if that's okay. I take the five points damage at the beginning of my next turn right?

Kruk feels the pain from the cloud of darkness, but dismisses it as he hears the sounds of the brutal attacks on Raiyek. "Someone help Raiyek! I think he's hurt bad! I'll do my best to keep them occupied for as long as I can!"

You're ok to stay, I assumed as much.

You'll take the 5 damage at the start of your next turn, yes, as I forgot until after you posted. Lucky you :)
