I dont run the SL and probably never will... but I do like well written useful things I can use in what I do run, which brings me to my question....

How cool is the Rat Man source book?

I love almost all of the Scarred Lands stuff, but Warrens of The Ratmen left me kind of cold.

It seemed to follow the all-to-familiar pattern of the World of Darkness sourcebooks.

It listed the different Ratmen clans in much the same way as The Vampires of the Camarilla, the Werewolf Tribes and the Mage Traditions are listed in their respective books.

All told it's "Fine" I guess, it's just in such astonishing company when placed alongside such supplements as Hollowfaust, Burok Torn and the Ghelspad Gazetteer itself thjat the bar is set pretty high.

Alright I'll get it.... but if it sucks I'll hunt you down and kill you all! Except TB I'll just cut off one of your fingers.:D

Thank you for the input.

Sorry Boys! I was off on tour! ;) Thus no internet access.

Limper, hope you're enjoy Warrens. What I liked about it was that, even though I knew it was just going to be about subraces, THAT's what interested me. I wanted to see how "playable" the races could be. The ELCs I felt were a tad off but overall, but that's nothing that couldn't be fixed for running Slitheren PCs. NP wise, I do think there's a lot to be offered, from the various poisions and new weapons, to the Tail Fighters and Twilight Wardens. (Btw, I think Tail fighters could give a Tempest a run for their money! :) ) At any rate, I do think there could be some improvements, but overall, THIS IS the book to understand the Slitheren/Ratmen mind set as well as utilize them effectively.
