A Review of 6E

What we all want to know is what's Crothian's postcount? :)
Sadly Crothian died from loss of blood when his eyes exploded from staring at the monitor for so long, right before the release of 6th edition. However, at the time, his thread count was 9,928,881,324 and a 1/2 (we give him 1/2 credit for the post he was in the middle of at the time of his demise) :D :p

Will there be a new version of Return To The Revenge Of The Tomb Of Horrors (Of Death (From Hell (Of Doom)))?

And will it have new rules? As far as I can remember, the 5.125E version of this classic had rules for the DM punching the players into the face as soon as their characters enter the dungeon.

Also, how much pages does the new clarification for Wild Shape/Polymorph take? Did they manage to cram it onto less than 250 pages this time?
LMFAO I can't stop crying :D :p

1. Did they finally do something to improve the Frenzied Berserker base class? In 5.75 the bard kept kicking sand in my face and there wasn't much I could do about it except for to howl in impotent fury. It just sucked in 5.75 if you were a ROLE-player and not a COMPUTATIONALOUTPUT-player.

2. Is the Flumph's favored class still Hulking Hurler? I just thought is was a little weird, is all.

Yeah. If you are anywhere NEAR as interested in the math and the programming as you were with the alternate virtual reality setting, you're not a real roleplayer, you never were and you never will be. The only thing that kept me here is the alternate ruling that allows for no dice, no numbers, nothing. Just a story, with the players literally becoming the characters in spirit, immersing themselves in the realm, feeling every blow, conversing with the NPCs and taking their hands. Why do it any other way?

[Was that a good enough Rem's Law?]

My problem with 6E is that MotC has no vision to grow the game. The clones are growing up with Direct Implant Immersion Games like Multiverse of Warcraft where everything is created directly from the subconscious thoughts of the Hivemind. MotC needs to create an introductory version of the game for neural download so that kids don't need to read.

In the end I'll have nothing to do with MotC now that they killed the Digital Dragon and Dungeon magazines as part of the Quantum Initiative. I like to read the magazines on my WinBook while sitting on the can. Even if I can convert the quantum versions to digital, I shouldn't have to.
