Jax thinks deeply on it, but he can't recall having heard about this particular estate before. Maybe there are mages in it, maybe not.

Ingot's suggestion is apparently something Jax didn't even consider. "Ring the bell? Not break in? But then they would know we are here... There must be more research we can do. Let's ask around! Maybe the neighbors know who lives here? Or a passerby."

Ingot considers. "The problem is, not only do we not know if the mages are inclined to help or to hinder us, we don't even know if they are inside. Or even if they are inside, but somehow under threat themselves. So maybe a little scouting would be wise. But let's use care to try not to make them think we have hostile intentions, to the extent that we can. We want to gather information, not prepare an ambush."

You can detect that there is definitely magical arcane energy around here and somehow you feel that this image of the normal house in front of you is some sort of illusory image. There are actually many types of energies coming from the "house".[/sblock]
