D&D 5E A simple method to rekindle my 5E enthusiasm (+)

Doors and Corners
Now that we're theoretically headed into the home stretch and 5e will be out later this year and, supposedly, the game is more or less final, teasers are really not cutting it for me. Ok. Well. They ARE but as a very long time player of D&D, I want more because I have the same sense of entitlement as everyone else!

An easy way to get me repsyched (even though there is no such word) would be to release a mock up of the cover of the game books. Doesn't have to be the real covers. Just a mock up for me to go kewl! Groovy! Nifty-keeno! over.

What would do it for you?

Absolutely nothing. I really don't care what art -- or if any art at all -- is on the cover or even inside it.

I'm only interested in a in-depth look at the text: discussions of the finalised rules, their purpose, rationale, and text.

My enthusiasm was rekindled last week. It was the Tyranny of Dragons preview. I can't specify what in it made me excited for 5e again, but suddenly I was. The Live Q&A today pushed my enthusiasm up more, as 5e seems to be going right where I'd like it to.

Yep, forget pretty pictures. Give me real info.

But even if they don't say another word about until it gets released I am still buying it. :)

IIRC, they showed the actual cover at the GAMA game show about a month ago. So it's not like they don't have it available to show.

At this point, I'm interested in three things: the product schedule (what books, when, and how much), what's happening with the DDI, and what's happening with third-party licensing. Answers to one or all of those would rekindle my enthusiasm.

And I well understand that they're not ready to share that. That's their prerogative. But until they share that, anything else they choose to say is a negative - not only is it not of interest but it is actively wasting my time. I do not want to be told that the game has some marvellous, awesome, cool new feature if being told that comes with an unsaid, "but you don't get to see it or try it out, and we're not even going to tell you when you will be able to see it or try it out."

That is something I can completely understand. I sorta spaced out on the playtest stuff at the end and missed the last playtest packet, so everything they mention has my interest to a certain point and that point appears to be one of your stopping points also.
