OOC: Yeah, that too Basicly, other than Misha, and perhaps a bit of the diners, he's about ready to continue till Laynie's ready to attend herself

*Vanitri continues to be unable to find Misha. Eventually, he hears that she was one of those who vanished.*

OOC: When did she vanish that had to be after she left but before the assault, which was.. a day or two later? And the two of them was a Lex and Lex dinner Headmaster is fine.

OOC: He'll also try to do a quick estimate on the gems.

(OOC: Perhaps 4000 GP value for all of them combined, a bit less after sold to a jeweler. Yeah, she vanished before the assault. Oops, right--Lex & Lex dinner )

*Vanitri heads to his dinner with the Headmaster. Meeting him for the first time in a large dining room that is far too big for just the two of them, Vanitri can tell that this man is powerful just by looking at him. He appears a stereotypical old archmage, even with the robe and pointy hat, but he has an aura of power around him that belies his soft grey eyes.*

"Hrmm...there you are lad. Greetings. Please, take a seat," he offers.

 

[Bront]

"Thank you Headmaster. It's a pleasure to meet you." Vanitri says, as he has a seat.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Hrrm...hmm...so you're that Vanitri boy they're talking about. A right good thing you've done for our school, yes? Or so I hear. Hrrm...don't seem like much of a wizard to me though...after months of class, not even a single cantrip? Interesting...but you faced the Dark Lord. It was Elayna Valsice, yes? Hrmm...if so, that would be interesting."

 

[Bront]

Vanitri smiles, "Well, I try sir, but I'm a wanderer at heart. I'll stick it out as long as I can, but I think Laynie will be a much better student than I."

"And yes, Elayna Valsice. I couldn't tell if she was truely regretfull of what she did, or simply trying to throw me off, but she certaintly did like to talk, and I'm greatful for that."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Hrrm...yes. A wanderer, like most Freefolk. Some choose that way, I hear...hrrm. Still, you should finish up your education. Not many have the chance, hmm? Likes to talk, yes, Elayna always did. Very social girl, elected class president back in her day, and an excellent teaching assistant and teacher, hrrm...too bad she left to pursue her own research. Was a fine professor, I think."

"She was a professor? What of? And what research did she go off to work on?"
