A Teacher for Laynie: Mystery at the Academy (Part 2)

(OOC: As before, Laynie puts up with being babysat by Lex for a short time if she must, but it is clear that she would prefer to spend time with Vanitri. For her part, Lex generally doesn't really have enough time to take care of Laynie and hopes that she'll just quietly read a book so she can study)

OOC: If he can con convince full Lex to come with in 2 years, he might be willing to stay longer, or even wander a year and return for a year. It'd probably be good for Lex to trevel a bit (At least he might be able to convince her of that), and getting Laynie to forgive the freefolk would be good. I'm going to send KO an e-mail and ask him for potential options.

(OOC: Full Lex definitely can't come mechanically--she has the split magic item and the Ring of Sustenance, which your cohort shouldn't be allowed to have, and she's built on higher than a measly 25 PB also )

OOC: If she has to loose the split ring, it's doable. I'm e-mailing KO for options. You have any other ideas though? I guess I could do the leadership, but admittedly, she's a wizard I would have trouble being effective with, which defeats part of the purpose of having her allong.

(OOC: Actually, I find Wizard and Cleric are among the best possible choice for a cohort, although that may not be what you mean when you say 'have trouble being effective with'. There's also the option of just vanishing before any NPCs can do anything about it and hope they work out okay--that gets rid of those pesky girls!)

OOC: Yeah, and find a pit fiend waiting for me when I get back? I don't think so

Another thought, sacrificing earned XP. I wonder if they'd let me give it up for Lex, particularly since technicaly she was there.

And by effective, I mean me play effectively, not be effective. I agree with the fact that they are effective.

(OOC: Technically, she received equal XP to the amount you just did. I actually already took away XP from you and gave it to Lex (and Rayne/Truman/Elayna). Otherwise you would have gained 4x as much )
