I voted for wisdom.

Strength and dex don't really seem to improve quality of life that greatly over Joe Average.

Average Con is good. I don't mind being occasionally under the weather.

I used to think that Intelligence was the be-all end-all of character traits, but the older I get, the more I come to feel that it's not as necessary as I might want to believe.

Cha is very nice. But I wasn't sure I'd enjoy a life where people adored me, but I couldn't really see clearly enough to tell who my friends were, and who was just trying to glow in my reflected radiance.

So I went with Wisdom. Seeing clearly. Understanding over knowing. Having the will to succeed in spite of average charisma and intelligence. Having the perception to know what it's important to succeed at.

I guess I would pick the one I would consider my weakest attribute.
Wisdom
I'm a smart guy and fairly well-read, I'm big + fairly tough, health not to bad, I'm probably completely average agility-wise but that hasn't hampered me much. I have very close friends.
But all this going for me I still continue make bad decisions that has left me divorced twice and while I'm not poor I'm not rich either.

MAN! I would love an 18 Wisdom....

for most people a score of 18 in int means an improvment of 15 :p
now, being intelligent already, i would like an improvment in wis, even just a 14 will do, as i have a lack of will power and common sense.

With knowledge come's wisdom, right? 18 int for me :D

Heck, I'll take 12 on everything (thats +1 on all abilities right?). That way I'm slightly better than average

I'd choose wisdom. I tend to believe more in insight and common sense these days. Also because I believe it's the one I mostly lack.

Dex

I chose Dexterity, apparently the only one, but maybe it's because I like the dexterity of ninjas and rogues too much. Intelligence to me is overrated, but spying sounds cool to me. Maybe I'm not being realistic, but whatever. For me, Dexterity is kind of a coolness factor that I can't get with anything else.

I went with Charisma. I've seen too many people who were dumb as a post get the good jobs, the attractive SO, and lots of respect simply because they were hyper-charismatic. Intelligence is good, but you have to have a few things in order to make it work for you. The first thing is a good education. That means putting yourself in a great deal of debt to get it. Without an education, your intelligence is wasted.

Then, once you have an education, then you need to get a job. They may check your work history and whether or not you have a degree, but other than checking your GPA, there is really no way for them to see that you are any smarter than the other applicant... and if he was all smiles and they felt comfortable around him, then you know who will be getting the job.

OK, so you got a job. It wasn't the one you wanted, because that guy with all his hair, the perfect teeth, and the natural tan got the one you really wanted, but at least you aren't getting paid to follow horses around all day with a broom. Now you have to be a part of whatever team you were hired onto. That means interracting with people in a positive and productive way. Again, a high charisma helps more than intelligence does.

So you take an 18 in Charisma, sure, you probably won't be winning the Nobel peace prize any day soon, but at least you will be well liked and fairly successful.
