Nigh all my hobbies (among them feature computer programming, gaming, reading books, and wasting time on the Internet) are nerdy. Therefore, Int. I'd like to be fluent in four foreign languages, as well. Right now, it's only one (and a half if you add the little notions I have of German). Guess that gives me a real-life Int score of 13. :)

Gotta be Wisdom. No, I may not become rich, and may end up living in a mountain cave, but I'll be happy. I think the most influential people in history have had high wisdom scores. Sure, your charismatic leaders may have got a lot done, but when they die, so does their empire, making way for the next cult of personality. But true wisdom endures.

And the Buddah supposedly found the highest happiness by using wisdom, ie perception and understanding. Good enough for me.

Wisdom

Wisdom of course, thats the only way to get a higher salary (at least according to the PHB) Max out profession rank(your choice) and you get the +4 bonus when it comes time to negociate your salary. Given that you have an average int and cha, means you should easily get a job.

What you live in France and tu ne sais pas parler francais?

Average physical health is good enough for me. More constitution would be nice, but I'm below average on CON as is so I'd probably be doing fine with getting moved up to average. Besides, who really wants a high CON? Think about how much more it will cost you to get drunk, folks! ;)

Charisma is tempting, but I'd hate to be all style and bluster with no added substance to back me up. I don't think that otherwise average people with CHA 18 have many really close friends -- at least not of the variety that they can still use their CHA 18 on/with. Maybe you wouldn't need to if you were a big-time singer or actor -- just milk the CHA for more money than I'll ever see and be happy at that. I don't know. I wouldn't bet on it.

I've already got a goodly degree of INT. Not enough to get free languages at first level unless you're counting SQL and C# and such for that. But while being able to pick up on arcane technical details with extreme rapidity has provided me with a career, it doesn't change the fact that I both got my BFA in the wrong thing and then chose the wrong career and am now having a bit of difficulty moving around in it. Straight INT lasted me until I was 24.

No, I think the thing that I'd really like would have to be the 18 WIS. INT is good for learning, but WIS is percieving and if you're reviewing somebody else's work -- even if you're only average at it yourself -- being able to notice the minutae of what they've screwed up is very important. Sense Motive is a critical skill to not be scoffed at in today's corporate environment. Autohypnosis would also be a nice skill to have as I'm not a naturally serene person, and Survival kind of sums it up right there, doesn't it?

Yeah, I'd have to say that WIS would be the stat I'd want at 18. It may not be worth the most money, but it makes life the most liveable.

::Kaze (is thinking of 2Nu's Mistakes...
"I think I've made more wrong decisions in my life than right ones. I've been very selfish and I've hurt a lot of really nice people because of it. Sometimes I wish I could go back and change a few things. But, sadly, if anyone could actually grant me a wish... I'd probably ask for money.")

I feel ok with myself.:).
But i would like god spread some int and wisdom around.
Everyone would be far more happier if some people had wis and int raised a point or 2.. (etc. politians)

(oh,and a a 18 int would be great anyway -followed by a decent wis)

Wisdom, because (despite my already unusually good common sense, especially for a 17-year-old male) I'd have the good sense to work out to improve my already high strength and average con and dex, and because I wouldn't really want to be that much smarter than everybody else, as would be the case with 18 int...oh, and I don't really care much for social acuity, so that rules out charisma.

Yep, I'd go from about 14,11,11,13,14,10 to 14,11,11,13,18,10. That'd be a 25-point to 35-point improvement...hmmm...

*Yes, I really do think I have about 14 strength; my 'max load' is around 200 pounds. I'm probably overestimating my base wisdom though, but knowing that means it's probably close to that high.
