D&D 5E (2014) Abjurations Spells? Not Enough? Where should I look?

Compared to previous editions, 5e doesn't have a ton of spells. Deep Magic by Kobold Press, or the Book of Lost Spells by Necromancer Games might be good options to expand the spell lists.

I'll see if there is good preview for these.

A house-rule we use is Wizards of the different schools can learn their school spells from any spell list... which would just about double the selection for Abjuration spells.

Wow. I'd have to look carefully before allowing that.

EDIT: Many are homebrewed conversions of earlier edition spells. This includes all schools, but hasn't been updated to account for the artificer yet.

I've been working on some homebrew spells, many of which are conversions or riffs on previous edition spells.

There's also several DM Guild products filled with a variety of spells, I thought there was a "Mordenkainen's" best seller, but couldn't find it. I did find this (though I don't have a copy myself):

IMO it works wonderfully and makes a lot of sense thematically. If you have time, you should look into it.
