Abondoning a class

You have a BUNCH of 1st level classes, and one one class [Wilder(3)] which is out of balance with the others. You thus have only a 20% experience penalty with the classes and levels you describe.

Hmm... I'm away from my PHB, but I was under the impression that the situation described, by the wording in the PHB, counted as a bunch of unbalanced classes, not one unbalanced class.

Without the wording on hand, though, I'm not certain.

Edit - I believe the wording is "-20% penalty for each class that is not within one level of his most experienced class."

Since we ignore the favoured class (Wizard, for example), his 'most experienced class' is Wilder 3. For each class that is not within one level of his Wilder level (ie, all the 1st level classes), he takes a -20% penalty.
