Okay... so I can't area-dispel them. That makes it a little bit better, but still, I can target-dispel something less than an artifact and now I can break it like Joe Infantryman's sword? Even that is still a bit over the top. I know it wouldn't apply to something like Excalibur, which would be... well...
I'm glad someone pointed that out to me, just in case my players try something like that. I know some of my players read the boards, and like to browse most of the topics. Be a shame what I posted before would actually work.
As for the ruling from the Sage, could someone at least tell us which Dragon it's in? I'd like to see that, even though it's not "canon."
