About drow...shouldn't they have an int bonus?

Drows are masters of social interaction, manipulaion and intrigue. If we have to choose between Intelligence and Charisma, I think that "social intelligence" is better represented by charisma.

+2 cha makes sense to me, and I like the trinity of each race having a different non-physical stat focus. I'm guessing half elves will get the +2 dex, but no other stat bonus (at least from their elven heritage). That might allow "half elves" to be half of ANY of the full elven races. I'd love that. Sew up the halfbreeds from all three in one race.

Actually, it seems that Half-Elves will get +2 Dex, +2 Cha, judging from their diplomacy onus in 3E. And since Half-elves as a race are ridiculosly stupid and unneeded, I will happily kill them and distribute their stuff, so I have no issue with that.

edit: Then again, if Humans are +2 to two stats of your choice, then Half-Elves might be +2 Dex, +2 to one stat of your choice. Humans and Half-Elves might also have less attribute boni in favor of racial powers, but I doubt it.

The bonus to Charisma makes sense for both the stereotypical female and male Drow roles if we make two assumptions :

1. Not every 3e wizard is a 4e a wizard. A good deal of drow wizards were portrayed as summoners of demons and devils (the sort that take the easier road to power). This suggests that the 4e warlock might be a better fit for drow males.

2. Charisma will have a meaningful impact on a number of 4e cleric powers.
