snipe
intr.v. sniped, snip·ing, snipes
1. To shoot at individuals from a concealed place.
2. To shoot snipe.
3. To make malicious, underhand remarks or attacks.

Ah

Then it was incorrect, i saw nothing malicious or underhand unless one is extremely sensitive. :)

I concur that the bonuses don't stack, however there are occasionally reasons why one might wear the bracers of armor in conjunction with regular armor.

1. Bracers of armor (like mage armor) are a force effect, and therefore are effective against incorporeal touch attacks. Their bonus would apply even if your regular armor didn't.

2. One of the books (I believe it was the Arms and Equipment Guide) allowed one to put the various special armor abilities (such as fortification) into bracers of armor. If this is the case, it might be less expensive to put these extra abilities into another item than it would be to put it into your main suit of armor. For example, it would be cheaper to have a +5 suit of armor and a +1 bracers of armor with fortification athan it would be to have a +5 suit of armor with fortification.

edit: and it probably goes without saying, but we'd like this thread to go back on track and not continue along the lines of this hijack. Nothing to see, folks--move along!

All the test results point to Chaotic Neutral.

The funny part is there are more posters than me, they reply, and end up filling this thread up with more junk than me. Where's the logic in that?

In our relatively low-magic campaign, in which "magic shoppes" were few and far between, this was the reason the PCs kept the Bracers of Armor +1, rather than sell them.
