Time for a poll... What do you think of the Alderac's name for their setting, Warlord of the Accordlands?

Frankly it sounds like a place that's been overrun by destructive Hondas.

Will there be a sister supplement for Camrylands?

I thought of an accordian for some reason. "Warlord of the Accordians!" Wait until he gets smacked by the Barbarian of the Bagpipes!

Honestly, I find the name jarring. Accordlands sounds very artificial, as if it was something created by a panel of diplomats.

I suspect the Warlord of the Accordion would have to face the Barbarian of the Bagpipes, the Druid of the Drums, the Fighter of the Fife, the Paladin of the Piano, the Cleric of the Clarinet, and the Sorceror of the Scales. Or even the Wizard of the Wagnerian Operas.:D

There ought to be a new Ennie category next year - product name that inspires the most bad jokes.

Still, one semi-interesting thing, is people seem divided by those who thinks of accordions, and those who think of the car by Honda. Sort of an ink blot deal, I guess.

Woops, now there's an Acorn Lands.

Still, I think it does sound odd - like something translated into English from another language by Babelfish...

"Accordlands" is a bit awkward, but if the books are done well it shouldn't matter all that much.

Breaking it into two words might make it somewhat less awkward: "Warlords of the Accord Lands."

(I voted neutral.)

I, too, thought it was accordians at first. After I realized it wasn't and I repeated the name to myself a few times, I realized I didn't like it. It is awkward. It doesn't roll of the tongue.

The setting might be cool, though.

I voted thumbs-down. I don't have a joke to add about the title, but honestly, my first reading was "Acornlands". Every time I read that thread about the new setting I keep getting visions of Acorns.

Voted against the name. Not trying to be mean, but if I were to purchase this campaign there's a very strong possibility that I'd have to change the name of the setting to use it.
