Adapting the Nentir Vale into World X

Where have you placed the Nentir Vale? Can it be successfully integrated into any of the old D&D worlds? How would you modify it to place it in worlds like say Dark Sun?

Dark Sun is probably the hardest setting to try and get it to fit without dramatic changes to the geography, due to the forests, rivers and the like.

It's pretty easy to drop into Forgotten Realms however. I think this was discussed somewhere previously.

Is there a write-up available online for the vale, as it's been detailed to this point? Last time I looked -- years ago -- it was just a name, and that's obviously not the case now.
