Clerics and Wizards have their own perks that this isn't a concern (for me). They're already bolstered by other spells that enhance them in a variety of other ways, including their damage potential.I understand wanting to help various martials, but this really leaves clerics and some of the lower-end cantrip users behind. Waiting for potent cantrip to kick in just holds clerics back in the lower tier (and those already limited by cantrips that require a save, rather than an attack roll) when they need it most.
