First Post
A short list of weapons, armor, common-used items for 4E. I've used it in my low-level adventures(I divided XP by two, because PCs had to advance 1 level by 1 adventure), and it greatly helped to create "low heroic tear" atmosphere, when heroes still care about providing themselves with food, money to travel, e.t.c...
Firstly, I'm going to post only armour, to check if someone need it.
Long use means wearing for 8-12 battles or encountering extreme conditions.
Boiled leather armor. - 24/10 gp
[AC +3 Check 0] Gives -1d4 to checks after long use.
Bear hide armor. - 30/12 gp
[AC +4 Check -1] AC bonus is reduced to +2 after long use.
Can be made with 17 Nature check from 2*Bear hide; if you fail, you spoil hide.
Wolf hide armor. - 22/9 gp
[AC +3 Check 0] AC bonus is reduced to +1 after long use.
Can be made with 17 Nature check from 2*Wolf hide; if you fail, you spoil hide.
Peasant clothes. - 5/2 sp
[AC 0 Check 0] Can provide situational +2/-2 diplomacy modifier when talking to poor/rich people.
Thieves clothes. - 42/15 gp
[AC 2 Check 0] This clothes provide you with +3 thievery bonus when you try to hide something small in them.
Bard clothes. - 75/24 gp
[AC 2 Check 0] While talking to people, you gain +0/1/2(depends on situation) to diplomacy checks.
Chain armor with scale inserts. - 40/13 gp
[AC 6 Check -3] Long use adds -1 speed penalty. Making DC 16 Wisdom + DC 10 Dexterity + DC 13 Strength check and using smith's equipment, you can make this armor from chain armor and scales.
